Thaddeus Zaharas is a motorsport photographer who discovered his passion for auto and motorcycle racing when he moved to Austin, Texas in 2014.

The excitement of motorsport, combined with the challenge of capturing high-speed action, demands split-second timing and technical precision. When it all comes together as intended, it is a deeply rewarding experience for him.

Most of his photography to date has been shot without media credentials, which has required creativity to get the shot (e.g., shooting through multiple fences or around track officials, medical personnel, and other photographers). While sometimes frustrating, overcoming these challenges has made him a more resourceful and skilled photographer.

He is actively expanding his coverage across different motorsport disciplines. This summer, he will travel to races throughout the US and is gearing up for an exciting fall season, including Formula 1, the FIA World Endurance Championship, MotoAmerica Superbikes, SpeedTour, and other events around the country.
